Grants awarded

General

We make grants to a range of community foundations grassroots grantmakers, philanthropy support organizations and local associations. Since we started making grants in 2006 we have awarded US$2.6 million in grants to 143 organizations in 46 countries.

The seven organizations or programmes listed in our grantee profiles give you a sense of the type of organizations we support.

Recent grants

In 2011, we made grants in the area of Youth Civic Engagement (marked on the map with blue flags) and a one-off grant for Haiti. We have also recently made five grants under a new programme to support community philanthropy development in Asia (see the yellow flags on the map).
